1st ESN-IRO Meeting on The Importance of the Erasmus Student Network in the Development of Student Mobility at Universities in Serbia Coordinated by SIPUS Thursday, 18 December 2014

The ESN-IRO meeting within SIPUS:

• Presented the work of the biggest student organisation for student mobility in Europe
• Encouraged Serbian Universities to recognize the quality and necessity of ESN
• Explained how beneficial ESN is for further development of incoming and outgoing student mobility at Universities in Serbia
• Offered proposals for collaboration between ESN and Universities in Serbia (Erasmus Student Network currently exists only in Novi Sad and in Belgrade)

The meeting initiated the work on the establishment of ESN sections at remaining Universities in Serbia, with the support of International Relation Offices in order to contribute to the process of internationalisationat Serbian Universities by making a qualitative leap in the organization of student incoming and outgoing mobility (from students’ perspective).
